The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada is one of the largest cross-Canada Muslim organizations, spanning over 70 local chapters in cities from coast to coast, and nearly all provinces and territories.
For the last 20 years, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada has been one of the foremost active groups within the Muslim community in reaching out to Muslim youth and providing mentoring and programs to help Muslim youth to become strong contributors in our society.
Once, while officially launching the Office of Religious Freedom from the Ahmadiyya Muslim mosque in Vaughan, Ontario, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said this about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at:
“I’m grateful for the outstanding example that you set…you make an inspiring contribution to our values. You strengthen Canada’s commitment to diversity and pluralism…So as your Prime Minister, I thank you on behalf of all Canadians for strengthening and enriching the fabric of our country.”
